The first day after we got there, we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was really funny to see all the Christmas decorations up when it was 83 degrees outside! It rained a lot that day but we still had a good time. Our favorite part was the Luau where we ate roasted pig and drank Pina Coladas!
We went to a few different beaches while we were there. We snorkeled, Boggie Boarded (Skyler loved to boogie board...He was in the water every chance he had!) layed out in the sun, and saw some really pretty sunsets!
While we were at sunset beach we ran into a sea turtle that came to shore. It was so big!
We decided to make a sandman instead of a snowman!
We went on a boat (it was called Kai Oli Oli) that took us out in the middle of the ocean to watch for whales and dolphins. It was so cool! I have never seen a whale so up close! Before the boat took us back to shore, we snorkeled for a little while. I was a little nervous because we were so far away from the shore but it was really fun. We saw some sea turtles that swam right next to us and all different kinds of fish!
We went to Pearl Harbor which was a really neat experience. It was such a reverent place.
On New Years Eve, we went to dinner in Waikiki and then sat on the beach and watched fireworks that the Coast Guard set off on their Boats. It was a really good firework show and we were surrounded by the best scenery!
Matsumoto is a little store/shack that has the best shaved ice EVER! If you are ever on Ouahu we suggest that you stop by to have a taste!
We woke up really early one morning and hiked up to a lighthouse to watch the sunrise. I am not much of a morning person but it was a perfect view and we had a lot of fun! Im glad that Skyler dragged me out of bed to go! 
On the last day we were there we went parasailing. I am so afraid of heights so I was really nervous the whole time. Once we got into the air I realized how much fun it was. Me and Sky went tandum so it helped having him there with me. 
We had a great time and made a lot of memories. We both love to travel and cant wait until our next adventure!

what a fun christmas break!!! Hawaii is somewhere I can't wait to visit. Maybe one day have a beach house there!! and congrats on getting married what a huge step! I love being married it is wonderful!! amy gneiting(kiser)
your ahead of me Becky...still need to put Hawaii pics on our blog. It just takes so long to get them all on there! :) I do have whale and dolphin videos up though! It's too cold here...we should go back to Hawaii immediatly!

Hey chicka I'm so glad you found me on here!! I miss you!! yes we did have it at heritage gardens!! When did you get married?? Oh man I feel it's been ages! So you're living in Idaho?
Becky! You looked beautiful on our wedding day! Ha. That was fun to see you in the temple, sorry we didn't make it to your reception :) Danno and I went to Hawaii with his family a few years ago. I love Hawaii! It looks like you had a blast too. Let's go back for our one year anniversary.
