"You and Me Goin' Fishin' in the Dark..."

Last weekend, we went fishing with the Terry family in Island Park. It is so beautiful up there this time of year! I didnt take very many pictures, but here are few moments that I happened to have my camera.

Fun Weekend With the Wolfley's

Dont you love the long weekends that come every once in awhile throughout the year? I do!!!
The past Memorial Day weekend was no exception! Me and Skyler drove down to Utah to spend some time with all the Wolfley's at my parent's condos in East Canyon Resort.

The condos
The weekend started with the long drive down there. We left from Idaho Falls (thats where Skyler works now, ever since his great new job! Yay!) and drove 4 1/2 hours to East Canyon.
But it was well worth the drive. There are so many fun things to do there. There are two swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, campgrounds, shuffle board, playgrounds, miniture golf, fishing and awsome fourwheeling trails. And of course, we did it all.

Bailey took it quite serious when Grandpa told her to "always wear a helmet when on the four-wheelers"!

It was so good to be surrounded by family. There is nothing better!

Boys will be boys!

Thanks so much to Mom and Dad Wolfley for all the time and effort you guys put in to making our weekend so much fun! We love you guys!
October Babies....
October babies seem to be quite popular this year. We know six families that are expecting little ones in October. Congrats to all! We were so excited to find out the genders of the Bryan and Ashlee Wolfley baby (Boy!!!) and the Nick and Haley Terry baby (Girl!!)

"I Love to See the Temple..."

Rexburg, ID Temple

What a blessing the temple is! And an even a bigger blessing to live down the street from one. Me and Skyler went to the temple to do inititories tonight and it was a great experience for both of us. Im so glad that I get to be with that cute guy, and the rest of our family, for eternity!

AMA Supercross and Idaho Falls Race.

I gave Skyler two tickets to the AMA Supercross for Christmas and he finally got to use them last weekend!

He was so excited to go and was like a little kid in a candy store the whole time. He couldnt get enough of all the dirt bikes and testosterone surrounding him!

We had passes to go down in the pit before the race started. This is where we got to see all the racers, their bikes, and their tour buses.

**James Stewarts bike and tour bus (He was the winner of the race and the current leader in points)

We had great seats. We were right across from the finish line and had a good view of the holeshot.

It rained on and off all day until the race started at 7:00. So we had to stay pretty bundled up. Then the sun started to shine and it didnt rain again until the race was over. Skyler thinks its because God shines down on Supercross!

We had a really fun time. The race was really exciting! James Stewart won with Chad Reed in a very close second place.

Speaking of Dirt Bikes...

Skyler got FIRST PLACE in his race a few weekends ago in Idaho Falls! Congrats!

Congratulations Skyler!

Skyler graduated from BYU-Idaho on April 10th, with a degree in Business Management. And we couldn't be more proud of him! What an accomplishment!

Some of the Terry and Wolfley family came up to Idaho to support Skyler.

My niece Bailey was Skyler's biggest fan, she made him a sign that said "congratulations Skyler" and held it up during the convocation.
We had such a fun weekend. We ate lots of food, raced go-carts, played at the archade, swam at the hotel, hung out with friends, went to the Titanic museum in Idaho Falls (where Skyler set off the alarm, thats a story for a different day!) and best of all...relaxed :) it is so nice to be surrounded by people you love!
My Family left early on Saturday morning. Mom and Dad Wolfley still had a hotel room at the Hilton in Idaho Falls that they werent going to use so they let us use it for Saturday night. We had a lot of fun! Its funny how much fun you can have, even if you are only 25 minutes away from home :)They room was really nice! This is the view outside the window of our room. Amazing!
We ate at our favorite restraunt in Idaho Falls, Brownstone. We went shopping, and met up with some good friends, Billy and Tonya Bush. It's always good to see you guys!

Thanks to friends and family for all the love and support! and gifts :)

Whats next??????
Skyler had his last interview with klim (a snowmobile and motocross apparel company in Rigby) today, and will find out the final verdict on Monday. Meanwhile, he is still working at Fastenal. I will be going back to school a week from today to get by BSN (Bachelors of Nursing).

Ridin' Dirty at the Race!

A couple of weeks ago, Skyler rode in a race. He was very excited, because if you dont already know, he LOVES his dirt bike. His excitement seemed to override the bad logic of ending a five month riding drought with a race. But that didnt stop him from getting back on the horse...or bike, and doing an awesome job!

For those of you that dont know what a "hole shot" is, it is awarded to the fastest rider out of the gate, and around the first corner of the track. And Skyler was the winner! The video below shows my sexy number 6 getting the hole shot. At the begining, everyone had to start with their engine off and their right hand on their helmet. After everybody was ready, the gate operator goes into the little shed where nobody can see him, and randomly dropped the gates.

The race track was 5 miles long. He had a blast!

Fun Weekend in the Snow!

We had such a fun weekend! I cant think of a better way to spend our first Valentines Day together as a MARRIED couple!

We left Thursday evening, down to Skyler's cabin in McCammon, Idaho. We got there around 9 o'clock and unpacked, played games, ate yummy treats, watched a movie, and then went to bed. The next morning (Friday) we woke up and made breakfast. We got all of our snow stuff on and went out to ride the snowmobiles.

About 2 hours later (Skyler had to do a little fixin' on one of the snowmobiles) we were on our way!

We would ride the snowmobiles up on top of reallly big hills, and then sled down. And then ride the snowmobile back up. It was perfect since we didnt want to have to hike all the way up the hill again.

We did that until dark and then went back to the cabin. But not before we made a few snow angels :)

That night we went to Lava Hot Springs. It was so nice to be in the warm hot tubs after a day out in the snow.
The next morning was Valentines Day so we made a delicious breakfast with strawberry and blueberry crepes, and then I started getting ready. I heard Skyler watching TV and went out to see what he was watching. I ran and got the camera because I had to document what I saw (video below). Yep, he was watching Fern Gully! He knew all the songs and everything. He told me he was "reminiscing his childhood". I could just picture him as a little boy, wathcing Fern Gully! What a cute guy!

After he had enough of that, we went back out for more fun in the snow.

Of course Sky stopped to pose for the camera!

We left around 5:30 to go back up to Rexburg but stopped in Idaho Falls for dinner at Brownstone.

Besides a small crash at the bottom of a 4 foot drop off, we had such a fun weekend and wish it could have last a little bit longer!
